The Tercentenary year of Louis Marie Montfort’s entry in to the heavenly abode calls us to experience the spark which radiates from his life which inspires us to follow Christ the Wisdom Incarnate.

His entire life is guided by the fundamental option for God Alone. Everything according to Montfort, flows from this God of tenderness and everything finds its fulfillment in God. We are privileged to have this icon to live our Montfortian Religious life as a gift for the church and the world. The total, lived-out acceptance of the reality of our faith is what Montfort calls “Consecration to the Eternal and Incarnate Wisdom.” This loving, free surrender to God’s plan renews us in the Spirit so that we may deepen a sense of discipleship in us. It conform ourselves to the heart of Jesus and to place ourselves at the service of Mary, to become ever more “liberos” and move according to the inspiration of the spirit, to seek Christ in our brothers and sisters and to bring about interior unity. St.Louis Marie wants us to be the Extension of the Wisdom Incarnate saying “They will be true apostles of the latter times to whom the Lord of Hosts will give eloquence and strength to work wonders” (TD 58)

Our commitment and service flows from our consecration to God through the hands of Mary which is substantiated in our fraternal communion. A. T. Wrote defines service like this: “Whatever is done for God, without respect of its comparative character as related to other acts, is service, and only

That is service. Service is, comprehensively speaking, doing the will of God. He is t object. All is for Him, for His sake, as unto the Lord, not as unto man. Hence, even the

Humblest act of humblest disciple acquires a certain divine quality by its being done with reference to Him.” This year is also the jubilee year of Mercy which calls us to imitate Christ the Eternal Incarnate wisdom and live it as a year of Great Religious event in our life.

It is a year of forgiveness of sins, a commitment to serve God with joy and in peace with our Brothers and Sisters. It is a year of Christ, who brings life and grace to the humanity. Our beloved pope in his sharing says at the age of sixteen, in the year 1955 he has experienced the mercy of God in a marvelous way that convinced him to be a priest. We too experience the Mercy of God in every moment of our life; let it allow us to experience the Truth about God.

May the St. Louis Marie help us to cherish the Heritage he has passed on to us by living our Montfortian Consecration profoundly. Let me conclude with the words

of our Pope Francis, Never give up .... Never give up on the people you love. Never give up from being happy because life is an incredible show. And you are a special human being!"
